cell phone "blocked number" calls and not only respond to sound?
I have TMobile and at 9:13 the phone rang. Said that "call" anything at all … the number ten minutes later, again, he answered nothing, just a sound … a few seconds …. …. a beep few seconds … beep … so I told him again 10 minutes later on the dot! And let it beep-finally hung up. Sound intervals are equal and these calls occurred every 10 minutes on the DOT 1.5 hours! Then 4 hours later … they started again … the same .. I do not answer them, so they are not displayed in the details of the bill either … tmobile said to change the #. There is an unknown, rather than one person is hitting * 67 to block … The flame ended at 3:30 ish, started again around 7:30. Now he must begin again soon … any clue? There is no background noise or breathing, voices, etc. Almost like computerized or something. Need a solution or an explanation, in addition to changing my #, please!
I do not know if this help or not, because I do not know if Verizon and T-Mobile has the same option. Telemarketing calls I kept getting spam on my cell phone and what finally I made all my calls are restricted so that only incoming people were in my contacts can call me. Sounds like a pain in the butt, especially if you have tons contact … but is an option that does not force you to change your number. Also, you do not have to use this restriction permanently … just long enough someone calling for surrender. I hope that helps. Best of luck!
